Sand Dune Shadows

While editing a sand dune photo, I pushed a slider further than necessary and discovered a high-key look that I liked––– minimalist, abstract, interpretive … and certainly very different from all the photos I had created so far. The technique only worked on certain scenes, contrasty and with interesting shadow areas.  I like how it reduces the scene down to interesting shadow shapes on a canvas of white.
